Sunday - blow off day

Typically, I allow myself one blow-off day a week.  I try and make it a Saturday or Sunday.  That way if I'm really craving something, I know I can have it in a couple days or I can relax if my wife and I go out to dinner.  That's not to say that I totally pig-out and eat a dozen donuts, 3 big macs and a large pizza!

Today my wife and I got up and went to Eat-n-Park for breakfast where I had the French Toast Smile.  It consisted of 2 slices of French Toast, 2 scrambled eggs and 3 slices of bacon.  Add in the butter and syrup and it was an 820 calorie breakfast!

However to offset the calories, we then went bowling for an hour, and then went grocery shopping so I feel pretty good.  I made myself a couple turkey burgers (doubled on one bun with one piece of cheese) for lunch and we'll be getting pizza and salads for dinner.

So even splurging today I am only at 2073 calories not counting what I burned bowling.  I'll probably have a bowl of cereal later tonight and that will cut into the extra cals, but I'll still have a surplus.

Bowling was fun today, although I suck at it!  I'm just not consistent at it.  Even when I was bowling in a league I still sucked!  Regardless, I want to try and go every weekend through the rest of the winter and early spring.    Then I'll have to figure out a fun activity that my wife and I can do outside once it warms up.  I know my wife likes tennis, but I've never really played.  Still it might be fun.
